Meet Kristoff! This sweet gentleman was adopted as a puppy and recently returned to the shelter at 10 years old because his previous adopters could no longer care for him. It\u2019s truly heartbreaking.
\nKristoff is a gentle soul who warms up once he feels comfortable around you. He absolutely loves his snacks and enjoys short, leisurely walks. When Kristoff came back to us, his back legs were in very poor condition. After an examination and X-rays, our vet discovered that he has both LP (luxating patella) and CCL (cranial cruciate ligament) tears. This poor boy has likely been in pain for quite some time. We\u2019ll be sending Kristoff for surgery soon, and we\u2019re hopeful it will help him walk more comfortably and enjoy his golden years as he deserves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
