Bouncy was rescued as a young dog, but her nervousness made it hard for her to adapt. It took a long time before she was comfortable walking on leash, though she’s made significant progress over the past year. The shelter can still be overwhelming—especially during peak hours—but Bouncy gains a lot of confidence from other dogs and loves playing with them. That gives us hope that one day she’ll open up to humans too. She needs a patient and understanding adopter who is willing to give her time. When scared, she may pee or poop in fear—for example, if a stranger stops to look at her in her enclosure.
