Garcia, our sweet old lady, was rescued from an area where factories were shutting down. She and her buddy Galaxy had been hiding in an abandoned room for days, as their caregiver could no longer access the premises to feed them. After several tense days, we finally managed to get them out safely and bring them to the vet.
Though we don’t know Garcia’s exact age, it’s clear she’s a senior with arthritis and is now on long-term joint supplements. She also has urinary incontinence, which is being managed with supplements and doggy diapers.
Thankfully, Garcia is now in a loving foster home where she’s cared for with patience and compassion. But we still hope that one day, Garcia will find a forever home to live out her golden years in comfort and love.
