Snoopy was rescued as a fearful 3-month-old puppy and adopted at 6 months. Unfortunately, he bit several family members, and they became too afraid to keep him. After returning to the shelter, he settled for a while—but eventually, the biting behavior returned.
Because his bite incidents appear unprovoked and serious, we’re currently not actively seeking an adopter or fosterer for him. Instead, we’re focused on providing the best quality of life possible through regular walks, enrichment, and behavioral medication to help with his anxiety, especially during rainy days or loud noises.
Snoopy does have a sweet side and enjoys cuddles with people he knows well—we’re committed to caring for him with love and patience.
