If there’s no rating, means we’re still figuring them out!

Personality:

Tami was rescued from Pulau Ubin after being stuck in a swamp for more than a day. Kind members of the public noticed she hadn’t moved from the same spot and eventually heard her howling—signs she was in distress. With the help of some resourceful rescuers, she was brought to safety. Tami was in pain and initially reacted aggressively when touched near her hind legs. We later found out she had a dislocated hip and severe arthritis on the other side. After her first surgery, she improved significantly and now enjoys short walks. More recently, she had another surgery to remove two tumours, one of which was cancerous but successfully excised with clean margins. Tami has also bitten people before, so it’s important to read her body language closely and give her space, especially when she’s resting. She’s currently under the care of a very patient and experienced volunteer. Tami has occasional skin issues and requires a special diet. She’s been through a lot, and we’re hopeful she’ll one day find a home that understands and accepts her as she is.
