Dipsy was rescued at four months old with his mum and siblings—all of whom have since been adopted. Dipsy, however, has bounced through a few foster and adopter homes before landing back in the shelter, where he’s now spent several years.
He’s a high-energy, playful boy who absolutely loves toys and interaction. Though slightly cautious around new people, Dipsy warms up quickly—often after just a few sessions. He is sensitive to noise and will bark at sounds outside his enclosure or the window, which some adopters found stressful.
However, with some time, patience, and a little management, this can be improved. Dipsy is food-motivated, making him very trainable. He can be excitable on walks but responds well to training. Dipsy also had some skin issues in the past, now under control with a good diet.
He’s a loving, active companion who just needs someone to give him the chance he deserves.
